Manufacturing partner from Estonia

Serial renovation starts in the factory. Not on the scaffolding.

EstNor manufactures insulated facade and roof elements with windows, ventilation routing and a finished facade surface already built in. Around 90 % of the facade work happens under controlled factory conditions – on-site installation then takes weeks instead of months.

What we offer

A manufacturing partner for the building envelope

EstNor supplies the prefabricated components and, on request, covers the complete chain from survey to on-site installation – in Germany together with local partner companies.

Facade elements

Timber-frame elements with insulation, wind and vapour barrier, energy-efficient PVC windows and a pre-fitted cladding panel – made to measure from a 3D survey.

Roof elements

Prefabricated roof elements including preparation for photovoltaics – produced in the same run as the facade, for a continuous envelope.

From survey to installation

EstNor handles building survey, structural design, engineering, factory production, transport and on-site installation – as a complete package from one source.

Why now

Germany's building stock has to be renovated – faster than conventional methods allow

Millions of flats in apartment buildings from 1950–1979 are still at the energy standard of the year they were built. Climate targets for the building sector, rising operating costs and a shortage of skilled trades all come together at once. Serial renovation with prefabricated elements is the answer to this speed problem.

Market drivers
  • Germany's Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG), including a bonus for serial renovation
  • Standardised floor plans and building types – ideal for recurring element types
  • Fewer people on site: the degree of prefabrication moves work into the factory
  • Renovation with tenants in place – no need for residents to move out
  • No scaffolding, no months of site operations in the neighbourhood
Process

Four steps from survey to finished facade

  1. 3D survey

A building scan from the ground and by drone captures the existing structure to the millimetre.

  2. BIM planning & engineering

A BIM model is created from the point cloud – the basis for precisely fitting elements with windows, connection details and ventilation routing.

  3. Factory production

Around 90 % of the facade work is done weather-independently at the factory in Kiili, with consistent quality.

  4. Transport & installation

Delivery to Germany, on-site installation – a building with several stairwells in about 3–4 weeks instead of nearly a year.
